  • Identity Verification Information: To help create and maintain a trusted environment, we may collect identity verification information (such as images of your government-issued ID, passport, or national ID card) as permitted by applicable laws.

  • Payment Information: To facilitate payments, we require financial information (like your bank account or credit card information). Note: Zavovo does not store your full credit card details; they are processed securely by our third-party payment providers.

B. Information We Automatically Collect

  • Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the platform, such as the pages or content you view, your searches for listings, and bookings you have made.

We use, store, and process information mainly to:

  1. Provide the Platform: Enable you to access Zavovo, communicate with other members, and process payments.

  2. Trust and Safety: Verify your identity, prevent fraud, and conduct security investigations.

A. Sharing between Guests and Hosts

To facilitate a booking, we may share certain information:

  • When a booking is requested: The Host sees the Guest’s profile name and other public profile details.

  • When a booking is confirmed: We share contact information (phone number) and the precise location of the unit to coordinate check-in.

  • Note: We do not share your billing or payout information with other members.

B. Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us run our business, such as:

  • Payment processors (to charge cards and pay hosts).

  • Cloud hosting services (to keep the website running).

  • Identity verification services.

C. Legal Compliance

We may disclose your information to courts, law enforcement, or governmental authorities if required to do so by law (e.g., complying with Egyptian legal regulations) or to protect the vital interests of any person.
